Khun Paen was THE legendry warrior from Ayuthaya also known as Phlai Kaeo. He was a great soldier who lived during the period BE 2033-2071, and a disciple of the guru monk, Ajahn Kong. Khun Paen lived during the reign of King Rama II. The Kru of Wat Bang Krang was first discovered in BE 2447, during the reign of King Rama V. It was recorded there were a total of 20 different pim varients, mostly distinguished by facial features.
