When I saw this at the Apple Store (in late 2014) and picked it up, I couldn’t believe how light it was. I had to have it and I bought it on the spot. 

The most recent OS I've been able to load it with is iPadOS 12.5.7. It still totally works, though things like Safari are a little slow. I barely use it anymore because I have a more recent iPad, so I want to get this in somebody else's hands who will appreciate it before it’s obsolete!
