Numerous online sources identify this bronze bell with a molded Elephant to be from the Karen Hill area and Karen Hill tribe of Thailand.  The stand of of a dark/black wood.  The bell is suspended in the cradle by strands of a stiff reed, but one side of the reed support has deteriorated which has allowed the bell to lower and lay on the bottom surface, preventing it from suspension.  The height of the wood cradle is approx 7", the length about the same, and the width approx 4 1/2".
