This is a small, heavy, rustic apothecary chest of drawers appropriate for small items such as jewelry. The handcrafted and shabby chic style finish gives it a charming antique look. (I am not sure how old it is, but the type of construction goes back to old times!) The size of this piece is appropriate for setting upon dressers, counters, tables or shelves.The drawers themselves are small but just so charming in their rustic way. Drawer handles are hinged, black metal circles.
This, to me, seems like an asian piece judging by the hardware. The marked drawers and wood do not seem like american writing.
