A rare totally original 1930s Art Deco brown bakelite privacy rim lock. It has been stripped of paint splatters and polished. Has a steel lock beneath the bakelite casing. It measures 112mm x 78mm x 21mm. Has an excellent action. It comes with a pair of period oval bakelite door knobs complete with an oval back plate made by Iris. Both original grub screws are present. Also included is a new/old stock cast iron keep. In excellent condition and ready to fit. Perfect for an authentic 1930s house renovation.
