Rare estate find, beautiful finest quality selected woods of period used by CPF, grain pattern & color are beautiful. Hand carved by an obvious trade skilled craftsman. As aquired long ago, pipe remains untouched, unused & clean for past 5 decades, tucked away. New to market:

"Colossus" patented trademark in script is clearly visible, pic #3.  Also just below are encircled initials " GBD" centered above script words unable to read; last pic. Message us for copies of any particular photos seen herein  you'd like to examine closer; the clarity will be auto-enhanced we've found. Happy to provide right away .. we regularly ck msgs, daily.

Measures 7.25" long, bowl 3.25" deep

Condition: Very good, beautiful, vibrant colors remain throughout. We see a richly grained pattern of alternating colors, nicely preserved, still vivid from under a satin finish that's equally remarkably preserved for it's age. On closest examination we notice two inconsequential items: 1) 3 grouped, superficial straight marks centered on one side of bowl, & 2)  an extremely tight, inconsequential hairline irregularity. Does not wrap over lip; strictly confined to side of bowl. So tight it appears to be a mere color inclusion. Neither detract from this pipe's overall display beauty nor functionality. See all photos pls ...no obvious cracks, pits, abuse. No past repairs nor in need of any in our opinion, this quality pipe displays brilliantly, the burl or briar wood color variations are richly handsome.  It's original mouthpiece & tip remain fully intact bearing no indentational teeth marks typically found.  Interior bowl is clean enough to use, very well maintained. Overall, pipe's in remarkable condition for it's considerable 170 yr approx. age.. & exactly as shown within all our detailed photos provided for your consideration; inclusive of description herein.
