1) There is 1 set of black & white lead wires in one of pictures. We use this meter to test and adjust the running speed of diesel generators, gasoline generators & diesel motors: one set of black & white wires is wired to a NEMA 5-15P and samples AC output voltage signal of generator head for the speed and output voltage adjustment of generators. You can also wire the meter to a NEMA L5-30P or a NEMA L14-30P for the speed and voltage output adjustment of generators.
2) This is an LCD AC Meter! Please forgot the "+" & "-" signs on the back of case. There is no direction when it is hooked up to a 110/115/120V or 220/230/240V AC power source.
