We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
This is one of the greatest offerings of the songs of the Chaka Khan, one of the most talented female artists who unfortunately has been pretty much overlooked by the music industry. From the mid 1970's and for decades after we have been gifted by her songs. This is a disc that features the songs that charted like "Ain't Nobody", "Tell Me Something Good", "Sweet Thing" and "Through The Fire", songs that both moved us on the dance floor and will always tie us to the 70's (50 years ago!) and beyond. Add in the other songs like "I'm Every Woman" and you've got an awesome collection of Chaka songs! This disc includes songs that are quite difficult to find, the eighteen listed below.
