Balsa wood is lightweight and sturdy, making it easy for children to cut and stick together.

As balsa wood is light it is great for stacking activities and also floating in water trays.

Balsa wood pieces can be stuck together with medium strength PVA or you can use specially designed Balsa Cement.

Once you’ve finished your model, you can easily paint it with some of our ready mix poster paint.
