Barkcloth Has No Damage, Colors are Bright 62.5 x 84.5 With a 1 1/4" Hem on All Sides.The Reverse Side Has Several Patchwork  Pieces Of Black & Brown Fabric That Has Deteriorated Over Time. This Type of Damage is Often Seen With Dark Colors.  The  Quilt has 4 Layers. (1) Patchwork Pieces Were (2) Sewn to a Backing Sheet, (3) Filler Added (4) Finished With a Barkcloth Backing and the Edges Machine Stitched with a 1 1/4" Hem.  Patchwork is Hand Stitched. Several Possibilities , Remove Barkcloth to b Used for Other Purposes. Remove or Repair Damaged Patchwork and Add New Backing and Filler. Preserve Undamaged Squares For Other Uses, Pillows, Wall Hanging, etc. Barkcloth is in Amazing Condition for Fabric 64-73 Years Old.
