FRH10 Nylon Electric Guitar
Nylon sound guitar for electric guitar players.
You want to introduce the nylon sound with a casual approach. You want a nylon guitar that you can play without much discomfort from your regular electric guitar. And, they want an instrument that is fun to play not only on stage, but also in the living room.
The Ibanez FRH10N is a nylon electric guitar developed with these concepts in mind.
The natural nylon string sound that envelops the player when played acoustically, and the new-age distorted nylon sound when plugged in, will add a new dimension to your playing experience.
-FR shape hollow body with side ports (w/fan bracing)
Based on the single-cut Ibanez original FR shape, this hollow body is approximately 50mm thick with fan bracing on the top (front face), which is common on classical guitars. There is no sound hole on the front side of the body, but there is a sound port on the player side of the body.
The design allows the player to experience the natural nylon sound with a comfort that is not significantly different from that of an electric guitar.
-46mm wide nut and 400mm R fingerboard
The width of the nut is between that of a standard classical guitar and an electric guitar, and the fingerboard has a 400 mm radius.
The specifications are designed with the electric guitar player in mind, and are distinctly different from classical guitars in order to achieve smooth fingering.
The T-bar also opens up a new category of nylon electric guitars, and we have chosen a slightly lower string height setting than that of a typical classical guitar, which is even willing to make buzzing noises.
-Ibanez T-bar under-saddle pickups
The pickup is an original piezo pickup that is resistant to noise and produces a natural sound with a wide range.
-Ibanez Custom Electronics Preamp
Preamp with integrated endpin. It is equipped with a mute switch that can be turned off with a single push.
