The box is lined with purple velvet inside on the top and bottom. It measures 3" in diameter and 2" tall.  

The music works perfectly. It plays "We've Only Just Begun" made famous by The Carpenters. There's some minor gold wear on the underside and one small area of missing paint on the side (shown in photos).
