This handwoven, hand finished hat is in *MINT* condition. 

The photos ARE the description! The last photo shows how my collection has been stored (including the box beneath with lid).

The pink yarn is not scratchy, yet may have some wool. Examination of Photo #2 shows a shine woven in. It is lustrous, like mercerized cotton or silk; like sateen in fabric. My perception is that it is high quality yarn blend, and knitted by a discriminating grandmother-to-be, for her first grandchild, who turned out to be a boy.

The hat predates the ribbon. 

CROWN, where meets the seams, in back: unstretched - 4 inches; slightly stretched 5 inches (seam to seam)

DEPTH, 6 inches including the trim - 4 inches excluding the trim. Note: The trim is a sun/wind diffuser & is only applied around the front of the hat.

NECK, 11.5-12 inches flat - Ribbon adjusts neck size
