This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.

This is an absolutely outstanding reproduction of a middle 19th century (1840s -  up to the early 1890s) Civilian Man's Double-Breasted Paletot style Rubberized RAINCOAT with working exterior pockets - This coat is roughly based off the coat worn by Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson at Chancellorsville.  It is made of rubberized cotton cloth and is unlined.  The exterior features can be seen in the attached photos.

This coat is made slightly oversized to fit over your other coats and top clothing.  It would not normally be worn with just a shirt as a coat by itself.  It is excellent for civilian re-enacting, officers or cavalry or anyone who needs to be protected from the elements.

This fits very well and tailored nicely for the middle 19th century.  A common coat for men of multiple stations of life. Very, very nice all around. Can't be beat for the price.  Never worn and new.

SIZE is tagged as a 44" chest, but made slightly oversized so can easily fit up to a 45"+ chest.
