I’m a funeral director/embalmer and had a display of rare/unique items related to funeral or just oddities.
I purchased this gravity flask over ten years ago and then I moved, had two kids, and never really put my display back up.
So here it is being offered to you!
Approx: 6.25” wide at rim, 13.5” tall
Very “thin” chip along rim (see photos). Some bubbles present in glass.
A true antique piece!
I have some other mortuary items I have that will likely list over time. Thanks for looking!
Interesting random fact— gravity embalming is still employed but in the cadaver/medical side of things. Medical schools use a very different (aka stronger) solution of formaldehyde to have their donated bodies keep.
