Offered is a vintage crocodilian skin dress belt from the 1950's - 70's. It has nice combination of hornback & belly skin resulting in an eye catching two tone color scheme. Mounted on a leather backing. Belt is 1" wide & measures 40" in total length from the buckle to the end. Brass slide & clamp style buckle with skin insert. I'd guess the size to be a 34-36 or smaller. The only marking is the word Cayman on the back. I'm sure it's Caiman skin, but don't get the misspelling. The buckle is marked Fashion Omega. There is some age related drying to the skin, and light fading to a 6" area in the middle, or back. Doesn't look like this was worn very much. It's nearly new!
