This listing is for "Wellington's Victory: Battle of Waterloo Game – June 18th, 1815."  Wellington's Victory is a massive-scale simulation-level wargame of the Battle of Waterloo.  This is the first edition of the game, and is the SPI Dual Flat Pack version from 1976.

It's in pretty good shape overall.  The maps are in great shape (there are a couple of spots where the papers stuck together a bit and pulled apart poorly, but from what I saw, they don't affect playable areas).  The counters are also in really good shape, and they're sorted very nicely in the trays.  The rule book and other materials have some writing on them (a name of a previous owner, perhaps, and some underlines to point out key things, that sort of thing).  It doesn't get in the way, but it's there.  There's also a couple of papers about the game, things that aren't directly associated with the game itself.  The plastic on the flat pack is cracking at the edges slightly, and the insert papers are a little crinkled.  It's not perfect, by any means, but given the age of the game, I think it's in very reasonable shape (and I think you will too!).

The counters are really the only thing that might give someone pause here, so I need to talk about those for a moment.  According to the rules, there are supposed to be 2000 counters in the game.  I counted 1756.  After finding images of the original counter sheets on Board Game Geek, it seems that nearly every missing counter (all but five, actually) are generic white number markers that aren't associated with a specific nation or group in the game, and there are still 561 of those white markers in this copy.  I'm not sure which other five are missing.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.  The pictures are of the same game you'll receive.
