MANUAL
For extended longevity and peak performance of your Vostok watch, kindly refer to these instructions.
The crown in Vostok watches is intentionally designed to be wobbly. This
might seem strange, but it's normal. So don't worry if you notice some movement
in the crown - that's just how it's supposed to be.
Winding.
If you wear a watch on your hand every day there's no need to wind it up, but remember
to wind your watch up if you haven't worn it for more than a day. This will
ensure that it keeps accurate time and functions properly.
Unscrew the crown counterclockwise and then set it to position 2. Start winding by turning the crown by 25-30 turns. Screw the crown back.
Adjusting the time.
Set the crown to position 3. Turning the crown counterclockwise to set the correct time. Please, don't forget to screw the crown back.
Adjusting the date.
The Vostok watch does not have a “Quick Set” date system, however, you can adjust the date faster. Set the crown to position 3, move the hands just past midnight (00 hrs.), then backward to about 8 pm (20-00 hrs.), and again advance the hands forward past midnight (00 hrs.). The date will change each time the hands advance past midnight.
It's important to take care of your watch to ensure it lasts as long as possible. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- It's important to keep your watch safe and
in good condition. To do so, make sure to protect it from any sudden shocks,
exposure to chemical products, and magnetic fields. This will help to ensure
that your watch lasts as long as possible and continues to keep accurate time. Be
sure to handle it with care and store it in a safe place when not in use;
- To prevent the glass from getting misted over, it's important to make sure that
the crown is screwed on tightly. So be sure to check the crown regularly and tighten
it up as needed to prevent any fogging or misting.
- Remember to always check that the crown is screwed in tightly before submerging your watch
in water. This will help prevent water damage and ensure that your watch
continues to function properly.
