This is a set of watercolor paintings by Louise Sarrazin (1888-1967), a well-known artist from Orleans Parish, Louisiana. These paintings depict mid-century rural life in Louisiana.  The paintings measure 5"x7" surrounded by dark green matting and blonde wood frames that measure 9"x11". The paintings are professionally matted and framed with a description and title on the back of one painting (Auntie Boo's Cabin). Although the paintings are from the mid-40's the colors remain bright and there are no visible stains or dust below the glass. These paintings are in remarkable condition.

I am willing to sell the paintings separately.  Please contact me with questions.
