TORENIA FOURNIERI KAUAI BURGUNDY, WISHBONE FLOWER

This plant will make a beautiful exotic touch in a garden, containers and as an ornamental house pot plant. It is shade tolerant, heat resistant and requires minimal care, perfect for both novices and seasoned gardeners. Quite large, trumpet flowers are rich burgundy, with white throat and yellow spot inside. Best and abundant flowering in full to part sun with constant soil moisture. The genus name honors the Swedish priest and naturalist Olof Toren (1718- 1753). Torenia Kauai, which gets its name from the island in Hawaii, offers a bold color that brings that really tropical Hawaiian accent to your garden. Easy from seeds. Flowers just in 14 weeks from sowing. Very showy.
