Lot of 4 Vintage B&W Photographic Prints
Depicting an Automobile Wreck:
1938-39 Ford Stake Bed Truck and
1940 Buick Super Sedan.
The two 8x10s show the Buick stored inside a garage after the wreck. The two 5x7s were taken at night when the wreck occurred. There are no captions or other information about this wreck, but it was likely in the 1940s based on the model age of the vehicles.
These vintage gelatin silver (black-and-white) photo prints came up at auction as a large collection of over 100 photos, all from a single collector, who had carefully stored them in protective sleeves within a huge album. So they are in very nice condition.
There is no indication of exactly when these photos were printed. But they are all quite nice, and being sold for their historical/collectible value.
CONDITION: There may be small issues such as an edge crease, etc., from normal age, handling, and storage ... but no signs of abuse or moisture damage. All are from a non-smoking environment.
The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep
in mind that vintage/antique items always show their age. (Don't we
all!?) It would be impossible to mention every tiny detail, so please
expect that there will be something about this item (or lot) that's not perfect and may need touch-up.
