Anyone that has tried to repair one of the Heathkit Combination VTVM probes will know that the tiny brass rivets that were used to hold the 1 M Ohm resistor inside the probe head are not reusable.  We have several probes that needed repair and spent months trying to find replacement brass rivets.  Well, we finally found them and bought several thousand of them.  These parts work on every Combination probe from the V-7A to the IM-5228.  Very handy to have available.

Here is a kit to help rebuild your Heathkit VTVM Combination probe.  It includes two of the tiny brass rivets plus the weird sized 'E' clip used to hold the probe together.  Often the 1 M Ohm resistor used in the probe will increase in value out of tolerance and these parts are absolutely needed to put it back together.
