For sale is an Ex MOD British Army Military Hot Box GHSIII Tent Heater.

Unused Surplus MOD/Army Stock. In a very good condition – These appear to have very little or no use at all as parts are still wrapped as supplied into military stores. They have been dry stored in military warehousing so will have some scuffs, scratches and generally some dust and dirt.

These heaters are designed to be a self-contained silent operating drip feed heater.

Originally designed to heat the large 18×24 military tents (once warmed up these heaters emit a decent amount of heat) If your tent does not have a flue hole you will need to fit one to suit. Believe they are available elsewhere via a search for “Tent chimney jack”.

Multifuel - Diesel / Paraffin / Petrol / All sorts of aviation fuels. I'd stick to Diesel or Paraffin for safety and availability reasons!

Heater Output is adjustable from 5 to 15kW, more than enough to make your tent toasty warm in any weather.

Approx fuel consumption for diesel is around 0.402 litres per hour minimum output and around 1.77 litres per hour on maximum output.
