Cartier vintage (probably 1980s or 1990s) a shallow tobacco cigar cigarette cheroot pouch 12cm x 7.5cm exterior (5.5cm - 6cm wide interior)

I feel this may have been part of a 2 piece set, unless designed for a very specific tin or pouch, for this (& I have owned this for years) has not lost its molded shape & is patiently waiting for whatever was designed to fit inside. It is in near mint condition.

Crafted out of an incredibly tough beautifully grained red / Bordeaux possibly Spanish leather, beautifully molded, stitched & immaculately finished to the sides, lined in the finest black suede that feels like silk. Stamped into the interior suede & barely visible to both sides, Made in France & Cartier Paris, with a simple gold Cartier printed towards the base of the pouch. The exterior measures 12cm x 7.5cm & will probably hold a flattish tin or case of 10cm-10.5cm by 5.5cm-6cm by 1cm deep.

In near mint collectable condition save the very slightest odor of a rather beautiful tobacco to the inside, there is not a mark to the pouch, other than a small bulge on the reverse side towards the base where the popper or closure of another case fitted inside
