Effortless Cool Rare $4K SALVATORE FERRAGAMO Leather Moto Jacket, Unreal Details – Tom Ford, Saint Laurent, Brunello Cucinelli Aesthetic

Years ago I saw this Ferragamo campaign photo and fell in love with this exceptional black leather cafe racer. 

I had a stylist spend a long time tracking this down all over the world and she not only found it, but in my perfect size. I believe it’s a soft lambskin, but didn’t see any tags. It’s long been one of my favorite pieces and I’ve held on to it despite acquiring many TOM FORD versions. It looks equally good going tonal with darker shades, or using the contrast principle and pairing with lighter tones like the campaign photo. 

Of course it has the Ferragamo signature branded hardware throughout, the Gancini icon zip, incredible quilting details around the shoulders and inside the arms, and the fit is perfection. Ferragamo in particular always have some of, if not the best linings in the industry, with their stunning embossed leather patch inside.

As my favorite designer Tom Ford famously said, “Menswear is a detail-driven business” 

I don’t want to let this go, but my girlfriend and her daughter moved in so I need to make some (very) painful sacrifices. It has some general wear from a 2015 piece, but I’ve taken loving care of it.

I'm 6 feet, 180lbs for fit pic reference. I'm typically a comfortable size 50 EU (40 US) or a fitted 48IT (38 US). My tailor said I’m a natural 21 inch chest and 18 inch shoulder for fit pic reference. This is a size 48 IT (38 US). See below for measurements.
