Bender Charge Controller - CC613-ELPR

This Bender CC613-ELPR charge controller is for use in electric vehicle charging stations, wall-boxes or street light charging points. It effectively acts as the ‘brain’ of an intelligent charging station.

It monitors the internal hardware of the charging system, the user interfaces, plus the connection between the charging station and the vehicle.

Although unused, this item is rated as new/other because it doesn’t have its original packaging or instructions (the instructions are available online).

In addition to the basic item, the following accessories are included (see photos):

• Measuring current transformer (CT) - CTBC17P-03, including a 325mm cable
• PCB connector 8-pin (x 2)
• PCB connector 4-pin (x 1)
• USB config cable (x 1)

Features:

• Charge controller in accordance with IEC 61851-1 (charging mode 3)
• A charging station with two charging points would use this item as a slave (it doesn’t have a 4G modem)
• Dynamic load management (DLM) to optimally distribute the available power among all charging points and signal the maximum power available in each case to the vehicle
• Integrated Powerline Communication (PLC) in accordance with ISO 15118
• Internal temperature sensor to reduce the charging current depending on the ambient temperature
• Residual direct current monitoring
• Integrated emergency opener for actuator control (locking/unlocking) and monitoring of the 12 V supply voltage
• Smart-Grid-capable through OCPP 1.5 and 1.6 (JSON and SOAP), as well as the future-proof EEBUS protocol
