FOR BEST RESULTS: Taylor advises to weigh at the same time, in the same place, in similar clothing and make sure the scale is on a flat, hard surface. Use this scale consistently and track the changes over time. Weight can fluctuate throughout the day so the weight in the morning may not be the same as later in the day, at the gym, at your doctor's office, etc. .

Most of my items are pre-owned, so I do not know the history of the item.
