Buckle Type: Meant to be worn on 26mm Panerai Tang Buckle. Please Note, this strap cannot be worn with Panerai folding deployant buckle

This is a non-tapering strap that requires a 26mm buckle. This strap design is a carry-over from the original strap released on the original 47mm Luminor 1950 models, the PAM 127, PAM 203 and PAM217 Marina Militare. The 26mm Buckle was considered garagantuan and the no-taper strap was something of an anomaly. This strap was redesigned for the 2011 (and later) 47mm Luminor 1950's and Radiomir 1950's which featured the in-house 3-days movement in favor of a tapering strap. For these watches (PAM372, PAM423, PAM663, etc), the 26mm lug width strap tapered to a 22mm buckle width which some collectors preferred while others resented. If you are looking for a no-taper 26mm strap that takes a 26mm buckle, this is the strap for you. and If you don't have a 26mm buckle, contact me/check out my other auctions to buy the matching 26mm buckle for this strap.
