Early American Art Deco ceiling light fixture, chandelier c. 1930’s - 1940’s. Iconic among the molded bowl type chandeliers. Art Deco, Modern Art). Classic, period correct Art Deco brilliance. The glass shade and original light stem are original. Originally designed to complement one another. Molded depression glass. The light fixture displays beautifully with a generous solid brass canopy. Restored with new porcelain sockets & wiring. All rusted fittings have been replaced. The original brass fittings have been preserved, polished, during this restoration. No cracks, or major chips. One small imperfection to the underside of one petal tip, see photo # 16. Overall, outstanding condition. The original glass light stem is in mint condition. No less, noted, this is a very old, beautifully refurbished piece of lighting history.
