RMS Titanic was a British transatlantic luxury passenger liner, and she was then the largest ship in the world. With outstanding performance and luxury decoration, she was called the unsinkable ship before her commissioning. On April 10th 1912, Titanic departed on her maiden voyage, and she struck an iceberg 4 days later. In the early hours before dawn on April 15th, the giant ship, which was 269.1m long and had a displacement tonnage of 52,310 tons, sank into the ocean with more than 1,500 passengers & crew members who didn't get in lifeboats. The amazing specifications and tragic fate of the Titanic made her one of the most famous ships in history. Her story can be found in numerous books, songs and movies.
