Baldwin 12-string hollow-body electric guitar in fantastic condition for it’s age with no damage or buckle-rash as can be seen in the photographs.

These guitars are notorious for creating unwanted feedback as the soundboard is usually not directly connected to the back of the guitar leading to vibration and wailing feedback but this particular guitar has been cured of that problem by the insertion of a small block of wood between the soundboard and the back which was painstakingly built up of small sections inserted through the f-hole and built up to make a solid block.

The original Burns/Baldwin pickups have also been re-wound so retain the original tone but with improved output.

Beautiful semi-transparent red finish is also in fantastic condition. All round this is possibly the best example of this particular guitar that you will find for sale anywhere.

This guitar has been in my possession for almost fifty years and I have looked after it very carefully indeed but it is time for it to find a new home with someone who will play it more often than I have the time to do now.

Also included in the price is the original Baldwin hard case which is quite a rarity in itself as it fits both the six string and twelve string variants of this guitar and various other Baldwin guitars.

For obvious reasons I will not post or courier this guitar so it is available for collection only and cash payment only.

I will consider delivering it in person for travel costs depending on the buyers location please contact me if you’d like to arrange this.
