We are offering 15 Religious 1870s CDV photographs that were taken of famous paintings by Raphael and Guido Reni.  Five photos were taken by J. Turgis, Paris; five were by P. F. Cooper, Philadelphia; one was by Charles Taber, New Bedford, Massachusetts; and four do not have the photographer's name.

Many of the photos are of the Madonna, Mary and the Baby Jesus; some are of Mary, Jesus and Jesus' brother, James;  one is of Mary on a throne with Jesus on her lap and two priests standing next to her; one is of Mary, Jesus, and an old woman we believe may have been Mary's mother, Anne, and a woman who was possibly her cousin Elizabeth (we're not sure); one is of Mary and Jesus on a throne, with an angel and a young girl kneeling at their feet, and an old man reading from a book, probably the Old Testament; one is of Jesus wearing the Crown of Thorns; one is of Mary outside with Jesus, his brother, James (we assume) and Mary's husband, Joseph; and one is of Mary Magdelene.
