We are excited to offer the following upgrades to our customers. These upgrades are available for new orders and are available to all configurations of our Optiplex 780/790/7010 and HP 8300 listings.

Please be aware that some of the units have limited expansion slots availability and have limitations. Please check the included diagram below or in the gallery for these limitations.

Upgrade Descriptions

NVMe SSD: Upgrade to PCIe based SSDs for your new computer. Available for our Optiplex 790/7010 systems. Enjoy blazing fast speeds to take your creativity and productivity to the next level.

Wi-Fi AC or 6E: Enjoy various options for Wi-Fi network connectivity for improve performance and reliability. We are proud to offer Wi-Fi 6E to our customers and it’s available for Windows 10/11. We also have a new Wi-Fi 5 or AC option for Windows 7/10/11 in both external (USB) and internal (PCIe) form factors.

GPU: We are offering GPUs at a reasonable price to provide our customers with the option to have an HDMI output or to have more monitors connected to the system.

If you need more than two monitors connected to please message us directly as soon as possible as we can help provide you with a great solution.

Dual Boot: We are proud to offer you the chance to boot onto two different operating systems. You can boot onto Windows 7 Pro or Windows 10 pro or Windows XP pro. Just select the other operating system you wish us to install along with your first choice.

PLEASE NOTE: W7 & XP is NOT available for the NVMe upgrade.

NVMe Dual Boot with W7 is only available for the 64-bit version.

KB+M: If you need a USB Keyboard and USB Mouse, we can provide you with this.

LPT/Parallel/Printer Card: Some have requested this, and we are happy to provide you with this expansion card. Don’t feel locked down to the older generation Optiplex 780. Grab the performance upgrade of the OptiPlex 790/7010 or HP 8300 while being able to use your device via this port.

Tri-Boot: Why not have all three Operating Systems we provide. We will install any version of W7/W10/XP into your system. Please leave a message to the seller at checkout, with the version you wish to have.

Default is W7 Pro 64-bit, W10 Pro 64-bit, XP 32-bit.

PLEASE NOTE: NVMe SSD is not available for this option. Message us if you wish to obtain NVMe Dual Boot and Windows XP on an SSD in the same system.

2.5 Gbps Ethernet Card: We are glad to offer our customers an extra ethernet port or upgrade their ethernet port connectivity to 2.5 Gbps. This option is available for Windows 7, 10 and 11 systems. For our XP customers, if you wish to have an extra port send us a message and we will help you obtain your goal.

W11: We are excited to provide you with the chance to experience Windows 11 Pro on your new system. Due note: Our systems are not officially supported by Microsoft for Windows 11 Pro; therefore, as a precaution we always recommend our customers to use system restore points. W11 Pro version we install will be 22H2.

FAQ

Why can’t I select all the upgrades I want? Or My upgrade options are not available to me.

While we prefer to give you all the upgrade option possibilities, it is not possible to do under the eBay variation format. eBay implemented limitations under this format that restrict us to input these configurations.

We HIGHLY recommend customers to add each upgrade they want to their cart, one by one.

We appreciate your understanding and patience in doing this way.

I previously purchased a computer from you, why can’t I purchase these upgrades?

We appreciate your business and appreciate you considering us again. While we love to offer you these upgrades, we would rather install these upgrades to the system ourselves. We guarantee you that these upgrades will work out of the box this way. It is difficult to provide support and instructions over the internet if something goes wrong during the installation of the item to the system and installation of the necessary drivers.

I just purchased a unit from you and just noticed that you offer these upgrades, can I purchase them now/in a separate order?

YES, you can. If we have not confirmed shipment by producing a tracking number or did not drop it off at the respective shipping carrier, we can upgrade your system.

Please message us beforehand with your order number and we will confirm with you if we can do so.

Please beware, by doing this, shipping time will be increased since we need more time to do the upgrades. Rest assured; your system will reach you in the configuration you want it to be.

What is NVMe?

What is Dual Booting? Tri-booting?

Dual booting is a feature that allows you to install and run two different operating systems on the same computer, giving you the option to choose which one to use each time you start your computer. For example, you can have both Windows and Linux installed on your computer and switch between them whenever you want.

Here's how dual/tri booting works:

Installation:

We will set up dual booting and install each operating system on separate partitions of your computer's storage. Each partition will contain the files and settings for one operating system.

Boot Manager:

After installing both operating systems, a boot manager is installed on your computer. The boot manager is a program that allows you to choose which operating system to boot into when you start your computer.

When you turn on your computer, the boot manager presents you with a menu listing the available operating systems. You can then select the one you want to use.

Switching Between Operating Systems:

What is Custom under the GPU Option? Why is it $79.96?

This is a placeholder selection for us to offer custom solutions to our customers. Previous customers have requested certain GPUs or have certain requirements to be fulfilled by the GPU. We will gladly help you find the appropriate solution and will price adjust to this option to the agreed upon price.

Please message us beforehand with your requirements before selecting this option. We will not refund you the difference if you do so.

SHIPPING

Shipping address must match on eBay account. We do not ship to third parties.

All items will ship within 1-3 business days after payment is received.

We offer shipping via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. We do not ship any item via your arranged shipping/transportation company.

Economic Shipping will be the cheapest service available for your area. The service may take up to two (2) weeks depending on external factors such as weather, disruptions, backlog, etc.

If you have a preferred shipping method, please select from the options.

We have no control on shipment once the item(s) is/are in the carrier’s hands. We will work with you to resolve any lost or damaged item along with the carrier.

RETURN POLICY

All items have a warranty of 30 days from the day of received shipment.

Do not replace, modify, remove any parts, or attempt repair on unit(s). Please contact us via eBay messaging for either return or exchange within the 30 days warranty period.

Some units may require software upgrade, firmware upgrade or even part(s) upgrade to be compatible for your needs.

Please contact us for the item specification before making the purchase. Some software, firmware and parts upgrade may not be compatible with the unit.

All return or exchange items must match the serial number that was shipped.
