This is the WOOD STOCK , TAKE DOWN SCREW & BUTTPLATE  off of a  J. STEVENS Model 54A  410ga .  In good used condition with handling dings & scuffs from use. I didn't notice any cracks but it does have handling dings & scratches in the finish.  The buttplate is broken at the top.  See pics for actual item .    

I have the  24" barrel off this rifle listed separately & the barrel is stamped: J. STEVENS ARMS COMPANY - CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS USA. - MODEL 54A - 410 BORE - PROOF TESTED - 2 1/2" & 3" SHELLS. If interested check my other listings.
