PROCTO-GLYVENOL rectal suppositories

Procto-Glyvenol suppositories are used for the topical treatment of hemorrhoids and their concomitant disorders.

It is used to treat external and internal hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids are often recognized by the presence of sensitive nodules causing severe sensations such as pain, burning, and itching, especially during sitting.

Internal hemorrhoids can be a manifestation of the presence of bright red blood on the surface of the stool and pain during emptying.

Active substances:

• Lidocaine
• Tribenoside

One of the two active ingredients -Tribenoside reduces permeability and increases the tension of the smallest vessels at the site of application. In addition, it has an inhibitory effect on a number of substances which play an important role in inflammation and the induction of pain.

The second active ingredient -Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, helps to achieve rapid pain relief and alleviate unpleasant symptoms.
