Blackbeard Auctions Inc. is located in Halifax Nova Scotia and begin operations in 2020 as Blackbeard Sports Cards & Collectibles with the focus of selling graded and non-graded sports cards on eBay. As the company showed tremendous growth, we decided to further combine our passion, experience, and strategic thinking to expand into a comprehensive auction house that offers consignment services for all sports memorabilia, graded and non-graded trading cards, antiques, estates, and various other collectibles.

Payments are processed through ebay.
Shipping
Canadian Shipping Policies:
Shipping fee is quoted in each listing. Orders ship within 2 business days of payment received. Shipment delivery time is estimated 7 to 10 business days. Orders with "Buy it Now" under $75 will be mailed Canada Post lettermail. Orders with "Buy it Now" over $75 will be sent registered mail or parcel with signature confirmation. Auction items are sometimes difficult to determine the final sale value, the quoted shipping rate in listing will be the rate charged regardless of ending sale value. However, at the sellers discretion any auction item that sells under $75 may be sent lettermail instead of parcel.
Combined shipping available at $2 per additional card on single card lots, combined shipping calculation starts at highest item shipping cost. Combined shipping policies do not apply to cards valued over $500 because of insurance costs. Not applicable to "Free Shipping" listings. Combined shipping does not apply to items that qualify for the ebay authenticity guarantee program. Combined shipping invoices are sent at the conclusion of each auction, it can take up to an hour to send combined shipping invoices depending on size of auction. Orders that are paid before receiveing the combined shipping invoice will not be reimbursed and no longer qualify for combined shipping rate. However, we reserve the right to ship the order in one package.
Auctions typically end on Thursday night. Auctions that end on Thursday night are processed over the weekend and mailed on Monday. Tracking numbers are uploaded as processed.
United States Shipping Policies:

Orders under $125 will be mailed using Canada Post USA Parcel which includes tracking number. Orders over $125 will be sent using Canada Post USA Parcel which includes tracking number and signature confirmation. We may use Fedex instead of Canada Post at certain times. Import duties, taxes, and related charges are not included in the purchase price. Some states charge additional tax which is collected by eBay. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

FAQs
How do you determine your shipping fees?
Determining shipping cost can be very difficult with but we do our best and estimate based on value of item, dimensions, weight, processing time, labour, and packaging supplies. We use a flat rate shipping fee as too much administrative time would be required if calculating for every possible destination.
The cost to ship lettermail in Canada is only $1.94 but you charge $5.00 for lettermail?
The $1.94 cost only incorporates the cost of the actual stamp and does not include bubble mailer, cardboard protectors, tape, thermal lables, labour for packaging, and capital items such as weigh scales and thermal printers.
Do you have a maximum charge for shipping in both Canada and USA?
Yes. I stop calculating shipping fees when I know I have reached the maximum it will cost to mail to a certain destination. This is done on a case by case basis and determined through our experience with certain locations.
You quote $2.00 for each additional card on single card lot. Do you always charge $2.00 on additional single card lots?
This is at the sellers discretion. If you purchased 2 cards for total $25.00 I would likely charge $5.00 total shipping. If you purchased 10 cards and the value now exceeded $75 in value or required parcel shipping then I would need to charge the additional $2.00 per card until I got to your estimated maxmium shipping charge.
Do you insure your parcels when shipping?
Yes. All parcels are shipped with insurance. Insurance on parcels is very expensive and tends to be driving up shipping costs.
What locations do you ship too?
We ship to all Canada, USA, and Australia. If you reside outside these locations we recommend using a third party shipping services that allows you to have a mailing address located in Canada or USA.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. We offer local pickup in both Weymouth and Halifax, Nova Scotia. However, local pickup in Halifax will have a slight delay as we need to transfer items from Weymouth to Halifax.
