I did some research and found a flyer /gig poster (via the joydivisioncentral.com / joydiv.com) that took place in London, 1980 — which featured this piece of art that’s on the badge. I’ve included a screengrab in the pics, go check it out. I can’t find out who the artist is, but I have a feeling it may be Bernard Sumner or Peter Saville, who were both doodling for the band around the time — but I can’t confirm the artist.

I haven’t been able to fully authenticate these as of yet, as you can see they look aged and have oxidisation on the back of the pin.
