Vintage Rooster Cotton Bow Tie

Woven cotton with red and black decorative stripes in a slim batwing style bow tie.

Labeled; Rooster, WPL 13303, All Cotton. Hess Brothers label.

Sold at the Hess Brothers department store, Allentown, Pennsylvania, which was open from 1897 until the mid 1990's.

About 1 3/8" wide, adjustable with metal slides to a total length of 35".

Pre-owned vintage bow tie in good condition with some general wear; there is some fading /irregularities in the tones of the red and the dye has bled to stain the labels. The fabric, however, is clean without holes and doesn't feel fragile.
