2024 Never Summer Proto Synthesis Hybrid Camber Men's Snowboard
The Proto Synthesis snowboard from Never Summer has been designed to provide unbelievable performance all over the mountain. If you like blasting pistes, hitting kickers, and floating through powder fields, this snowboard has you covered!
The Proto Synthesis features a Shock Wave Rocker Camber. This amazing profile sure does pack a punch! The smaller rocker between the feet will enable you to float through powder and turn quickly with ease, while the longer camber areas create huge amounts of pop. Never Summer has created the best versatile profile available to ride anything on the mountain.
Vario Power Grip Sidecuts is essentially a straight section between the bindings, with a shallow radius section under the feet and a deep radius section on the contact points. This gives the rider quicker turn initiation and better edge hold by creating more contact points along the edge. In turn, the Power Grip sidecut prevents edge wash-outs and allows you to keep control in icy and windblown conditions.
Not only is the Proto Synthesis fitted with an incredible RDS 2 Damping System, but also with Never Summer's Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilisers. Packed full of damping layers and vibration absorption technology, these two features working together give you an unbelievably smooth ride and much-improved stability at high speeds.
The Proto Synthesis is built with an NS SuperLight Wood Core and finished off with an awesome lightweight & scratch-resistant Co-Extruded Polymer Topsheet. The Proto Synthesis from Never Summer is the perfect board for that go-anywhere do anything rider that likes to tear up the whole mountain.
The Proto Synthesis has remarkable speed and this is all down to the Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base. This high-density sintered base is enhanced with graphite, to create a highly durable and super fast base so you can charge through anything at lightning speed. This base is only featured on Never Summers high-end boards so you know you are getting the best!

- STS Pre-Tensioned Fibreglass -This pre-hardened, pre-tensioned and layered laminate has added elastomer stringers between 0 and 90 degrees, this produces a super strong bond between the fibre laminates and gives snowboards excellent strength, edge hold and performance

S2AS is perfectly located in Poole, Dorset only 20 minutes from the only full Wakeboard cable on the south coast where you can demo all of the Wakeboard equipment we stock in store. In our back yard are some of the most popular kitesurfing destinations in the UK, one being Poole harbour where you will find us teaching Kitesurfing Lessons when the wind is up.
We teach in the second largest natural harbour in the world, this provides us with perfect conditions for Kitesurfing lessons right on our doorstep. Poole Harbour is 300 meters of waist deep water so that you can never get out of your depth, offering a solid platform for learning to kitesurf.

All of our instructors are British Kite Sports Association (BKSA) trained and highly enthusiastic kitesurfers themselves with years of experience. If you order before 2pm, Monday to Friday and we have your items in stock, we'll dispatch the same day for 3-5 days delivery.
If you order after 2pm, we'll still try to dispatch that day but, if we can't, we'll dispatch the following day.
Items ordered after 2pm Friday or over a weekend will be dispatched Monday.
Items dispatched on Friday are for delivery the following week.
Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next working day.

Shipping to most EU countries is calculated at £15 and can take around 5-7 working days
Shipping outside the EU is calculated at £35 and can take around 5-12 working days

Please be aware that you may be liable for import taxes when you receive the item in your destination, this may be different for different countries (as a guide the UK VAT rate is 20%) It is essential that you understand and budget for any import taxes that you may have to pay. Surface 2 Air Sports is not responsible for these charges and if they are due you should be contacted by your customs office.
Unfortunately, if S2AS send an item out and it is then rejected by the customer due to these import charges you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to S2AS minus the total shipping and returns costs.
Exchange rates vary constantly therefore we cannot guarantee the price of an item in any other currency except GBP, all other currencies are an approximate. The money taken from your account will be in GPB, you must check with your bank as to how it will come out of your account.
* For any orders leaving the UK, no UK VAT will be charged and as a result the price you see on the website should exclude VAT.
s2as stock levels are constantly updated to maintain live stock levels but demand can sometimes be high and we occasionally run out of popular items.
Due to the constant rotation of our stock, some items may currently be on backorder and as such delivery can be delayed by up to 7 days. If this is the case, please feel free to call us for further information.
Our standard couriers are DPDLocal, Royal Mail and TNT.
All orders are shipped for within 3 to 4 days delivery Monday – Friday (depending on stock). If no-one is home a courier will leave details of the next delivery attempt and contact number of the local depot. If you would like your order to be “left safe” on your property should no one be home, please specify details in the comments as you check out.
The delivery charge for orders outside of mainland UK is calculated on the volumetric weight of the items and the destination country.

Upon delivery please check all items have not been damaged in transit before you sign for them. If any damage is visible, please ensure you sign as "Damaged" and you are with your rights to refuse and ask that they are returned to the sender. If you cannot thoroughly check the goods please sign for as ‘unchecked’.It is your duty to inspect and confirm that the goods are in good condition before signing. If the goods are damaged and not singed for as such, Surface 2 Air Sports cannot accept any liability and the item will not be replaced or reimbursed.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you 14 days from the purchase date to make us aware you wish to cancel the order and a further 14 days to return the item(s) to S2AS in their original condition with the packaging and tags intact for a full refund.
Please bear in mind items that are "not wanted" or ordered in customer error (i.e. wrong size/colour) will be not be refunded postage costs.
When returning items please place a note inside the parcel(s), with your Name, Contact Number, Order Number, reason for the return (i.e. wrong size, not matching item description, etc.) and whether you wish for a refund or to exchange for a different item(s), S2AS cannot be held responsible for any delays in regards to returns without this information enclosed.
