Soft Bristle Dog Brush. Wooden Handle. Gently Removes Loose Hair. For Long & Short Coats.

Some pets love it and others loathe it but grooming your pet is vital to helping them to remain both healthy and clean. It is also an exceptionally good bonding activity. To aid this a long lasting, safe and sturdy brush is essential. With this extra soft bristle dog brush your pet can enjoy/tolerate hours of quality grooming.

Ancol's wooden handled soft bristle dog brush has been designed to smooth your pets coat and remove loose hairs, promoting a healthy, shiny coat for your pet. The head and body of the brush is made of strong wood to ensure that the brush is long lasting and solid.

The soft bristle dog brush ensures a soft gentle grooming session. It’s gentle nature makes it ideal for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens (including pets that are nervous of grooming). It can be used around sensitive areas such as the ears and face. On long coats this brush produces its best results if used after a moulting comb or slicker brush.

The manufacturer recommends the following instructions for use:

To use, gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The soft bristles will pick up any loose hairs and smooth the coat. If your dog is nervous or new to grooming, ensure the brush is used gently and slowly. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated.

Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance through out the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.
