They were sold thru KREINIK MFG CO. INC. located in Parkersburg, WV. The company has been in business since 1973 and no longer sells German scissor. I suspect these Gingher scissors were sold by them in the mid-1970s. 

These scissors in this sale are at least 50 years old with an antique gold plated handle  and although probably used in excellent condition. I included a pic of the insert that confirms the gold plating and model of the scissor.
