They can be used in outdoor conditions, indoors (dry and wet), power plants and industry. PVC coating and insulation allow YKY electric cables to be laid directly in the ground, in the open air, in concrete casings, cable ducts, switchgears and local networks (if there is no risk of mechanical damage). YKY current cables as external power cables for buildings and electrical receivers YKY cables play an extremely important role in the entire installation, because they are used to directly connect the building to the power grid, most often as the main power cable. We place them between the power connector made by the Energy Company (usually located at the property boundary) and the main switchgear located in the building. Depending on the connection power of the building, 5x10mm² and 5x16mm² wires are most often used. In addition, YKY can be used to supply energy to various receivers located outside the facility. Most often, these are home automation devices (e.g. entrance gate actuators), garden lighting, power supply for a farm house and garage, or lighting of a private street.
