This image was printed and released  50 years ago when topography of Steam Railways was being compiled perfectly stored in our archives and since mounted.

The Canterbury and Whitstable Railway, affectionately known as the “Crab and Winkle Line”, holds a special place in railway history. It was the first passenger railway in the South of the UK and featured remarkable engineering achievements.
