This sword is a faithful replica of the Szczerbiec , the Polish King's coronation sword. Each sword is handmade with high carbon Toledo steel. Weight, size and length correspond to the original sword. 


A unique replica of the Polish coronation sword - the toothed sword. Szczerbiec was most likely built at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. Its first documented owner was Bolesław I of Masovia (1208-1248), and it was first used during the coronation of Władysław I the Elbow-high (1320). During World War II he was deported to Canada. Currently kept in the Wawel State Art Collections.

Gold handle, richly decorated with an ornament (originally in the niello technique) with the symbolism of the Lamb of God, the Evangelists and a vine motif (head and crossguard). The head on the obverse has a tetragrammaton - the letters alpha and omega of the Greek alphabet and the Latin inscription " REC. FIGVRA. TALET. AD AMOREM. REGVM. ET. PRINCIPVM. IRAS IVDICV. M” meaning “this sign strengthens the love of kings and princes and the anger of judges.” The crossguard on the obverse has the Latin inscription " QVICVMQVE hEC + NOMI[N]A DEII SECVM TVLERI[T] NVLLVM PERICVL[VM] CN EI OMNINO NOC[E]BIT" ("whoever carries these names of God with him will be in no danger in won't hurt at all) and on the reverse " CON. CITOMON.. EEVE SEDALAI. EBREbEL" fervent faith is inspired by the names of God Sedalai and Ebrehel" and the vine ornament. The blade has a slot for placing a relic in it.
