Vintage Authentic Kit-Cat Klock - Model B1
When I inherited this clock it was in somewhat rough shape - batteries left inside, bottom terminals slightly corroded, no tail. Gave it a very minor cleaning, placed eyes in the proper grooves and with fresh batteries was happy to hear the motor work. Observed for days, keeps perfect time. Bottom battery terminals still require a thorough cleaning.
There are a few indicators to see if you have an authentic B1, the easiest to spot is the original black pendulum lever that requires a tail with a hole, not a hook. Overall, the clock is in great condition, a little dusty but no obvious damage or repairs.
Eyes, minute/hour hands and bowtie all have classic age-related yellowing, easily replaced if you want.
