The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral was a Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Saxon square built in Warsaw. 
Cathedral was designer by Russian archetect Leon Benoise and was built betwwen 1894 and 1912.

Viktor Vasnetsov ( 1848 - 1926) was a Russian artist, He was one of the key figures in the evolution of Russian art in the nineteenth century as it moved from realism to something that was more in the style of Art Nouveau.
In later years he worked in Kiev with Mikhail Vrubel, whose work was admired by many Symbolists.
