A Herring gull needle felt picture.
I have made the Herring hull by needle felting wool fibres into shape. The gull is attached to box frame. Behind the gull is a needle felt seascape made by felting wool fibres onto a piece of vintage wool blanket,.
No glass in the frame.
The new ;ight frey wood box frame measures 17 cms square and 2 cms deep. The seagull's tail extends 10 cm outside the frame.
