I am selling my gorgeous, original un-restored "Survivor" 1981 Corvette "T Top" Coupe. This was purchased from a longtime owner (over 20 years) who had to reluctantly part with it. It had belonged members of his family since new! Always adult owned, never hot-rodded, wrecked or abused!

This is a great looking, original stock car, very well kept with 79,000 original miles! The mileage is certified as actual on my title!
The color is Corvette yellow. The original finish is bright, and still has a great shine! It has always been garaged or under cover. Underneath is also nice and clean, with no scaly rust or problems. Just a little light surface discoloration on the frame rails as you can see in pictures. Under hood is very nice unrestored original. Rear compartment looks great with nice original covering. Has original body panels, floors, etc. Original interior is really nice, as you can see in pictures! Still even has its original flexible rubber rear bumper tail panel and spoiler in great shape, NOT cracked, broken, or replaced with hard plastic aftermarket part like most you see!
I have been driving it with no issues or problems. Within the last 2 weeks, I have taken it on a 190 mile trip. It runs well using 87 regular unleaded gas and being a small block, gets decent gas mileage. I have not had any abnormal noises, oil consumption, smoke, etc. I would not hesitate to get in and go anywhere! All gauges work, headlights go up and down properly, etc.
1. Original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket stereo that fits nicely in original slot and uses original speakers with no hacking up of anything.
2. Car has been tuned up, tires replaced, exhaust replaced, and coolant changed . Also, has had belts, hoses, and shocks replaced. Ready to get in and drive where you want to go!
This is a great, road car! Engine and transmission are smooth and powerful at all speeds. Remember, they are only original ONCE! If someone GAVE you a "project car" for nothing, you could not turn it into this car for the price! Don't miss this nice original example!

About Us: We have been collecting and fooling with old cars for over 40 years. We favor original un-restored "Survivor" cars, as opposed to over-restored "Trailer Queens". We sometimes will sell one out of our collection to make room for a newly acquired car. This is the case here. We are located about 20 minutes from where Interstate 95 and Interstate 20 meet in the Florence, South Carolina area.
NOW FOR THE RULES:
1. A $500 NON-REFUNDABLE partial payment is due immediately upon purchase.
2. Your bid is a contract! Please be sure all contingencies are handled, decision makers are consulted, and your money is in place BEFORE you bid. If you buy the car, you are expected to pay.
3. Car and ownership documents will not be released or leave here until totally paid for with collected funds. I have clear title with no liens in hand.
4. Balance of purchase is payable by bank wire transfer within 7 days of purchase. This is the preferred method of payment that protects both buyer and seller. There has been too much fraud in recent years with money orders and bank checks.
5. Vehicle is sold at our premises. Transportation is buyer's responsibility We will help you with this any way we reasonably can, but it is your responsibility. You should put insurance on the car once you buy it. We will provide good care of it, but cannot be responsible for acts of God or circumstances beyond our control.
6. I understand this time of year with inclement winter weather in parts of the country, it may not be possible to pick car up right away. I am willing to let it stay here for a reasonable period, but it still must be paid for within the 7 days. Also, you should obtain insurance as noted previously.
7. Car is sold strictly AS/IS with NO Warranty. Remember, this is a 52 year old used car. As such there will be ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic defects, minor nicks and dings, etc. in keeping with its age. Please ask and get satisfactory answers to all questions BEFORE bidding.
