Available is a Pokemon Fossil Cosmos set graded PSA 8. This is one of the rarest sets to collect, let alone in high grade.

Wizards of the Coast switched from Galaxy to Cosmos Holofoil pattern between Fossil and Base Set 2 (3rd and 4th English sets). WOTC decided to test a few holofoil patterns in November of 1999, and Cosmos fortunately won the test.

These cards were fully produced with curved corners, Pokemon backs, and all proper card layering. Outside of the holofoil change, these appear, look, and feel exactly like regular Fossil Galaxy holos.

Largely going under the radar for years and a myth to others, most copies trace back to the Seattle area directly to employees or collections. WOTC is based in Seattle, WA. Outside of the occasional one off, provenance has remained consistent.

The majority of these cards exhibit surface scratches, edgewear, and corner nicks. This results in low grades, with the many 4s, 5s, and 6s being the best copies available.

PSA has recently started properly labeling these cards as authentic (without grades). CGC and BGS will label the cards with grades. This set is a rare, high-grade sighting of a complete set.

The set offered here comes in PSA 8 grades without the proper Cosmos Fossil designation.
