We are offering an 1887 postal cover & letter of John P. Lovell Arms Co., Boston, Massachusetts, also dealers of Springfield Roadster Bicycles, Bean's Patent Handcuffs, Top Snap Champion Single Breech Loading Shot Guns, Iver Johnson Shell Ejecting Revolvers, and Bean's Patent Police Hooks (with illustrations of all of the above on the front & back of envelope).  The illustration on the front for the bicycle shows a person falling off an inferior bicycle, with a crank wheel, while going downhill, and another person having to walk his bicycle up the hill.  In contrast, are two men on Springfield Roadsters, with lever motion, going up and down the hill with ease.  "No Headers For Us".  The letter, which is to Fred D. Pollard, [General Store Owner] Proctorsville, Vermont, says the company will send him 100 cartridges of the proper size for the Hunter's Pet.  **CONDITION** - Excellent; right side of envelope had been torn off when opened.
